I'm sure you are wondering about Ruby and I want you to know with your training of ME, she is doing beautifully!!! She is not the same dog you saw. She is walking wonderfully and listening. When I tell her no, she doesn't like it, but keeps going. I actually had a large dog come in my back yard on Saturday and she was out before I noticed. She was off my porch and went right to the dog, put didn't charge or attack!!!! As soon as I called her back, she returned to the house. I remembered to praise her for it. People come into my home now and she is amazing. She will greet them and socialize. She still has some social issues regarding other dogs, and probably always will, but I know that and deal with it.
I want to thank you for everything. Thru a lot of tears and wondering what I got myself into she is wonderful! I loved her from the beginning now we are completed dedicated to each other!!! My work begins on Titan but with his mother's example he is very easy to train. I know who to call when needed. Thank you both again.

Great class on Thursday morning. It is such a wonderful feeling to have your dog walk by your side off leash and know that she is there because she wants to be and not because she is tied to you by a leash. Thank you for helping us forge a great new partnership.

I don't expect that you remember Rembrandt and I (cross breed of Maltese and Bichon) as we only had around 5 classes with you before we left to live in Southern France. However, I don't know how it happened, as I don't think that I did anything spectacular other than inforce your instructions, but Rembrandt has been a model dog since we have relocated here in France. We take him every where, on buses, trains, hotels and wherever we go. He admittedly barked quite often when other dogs were around, however he now has learned to behave himself like a true gentleman.
So many thanks from Gerry and I for teaching us all how to make our stay here, such a wonderful experience.
We are always approached by other people in restaurants who come over and talk to him, and he has become a local star in his own right.
Many thanks again. You have made our dream of bringing our beloved pet to everyday places a dream come true.

Thank you for the wonderful job you helped me to do with Furby. I took him into town today to canvass for the Loyalist Humane Society and he did a two hour sit-stay in front of the post office, never broke; people petted him and he did not move or try to get up. He couldn’t have been better and I was really amazed! I didn’t think maybe it would work if you took him to a strange environment but it did, and he raised a lot of money for the Humane Society too. So thanks again for all your help.

After many months of trainiAfter returning from my first ever confirmation dog show in Nova Scotia I knew that Cedar would be a super star....It was great a Second Place Finish!!! After many months of training at Winstead Dogs Cedar was the best behaved dog there. If I had a nickel for every person that wanted to take him home I would have been a millionaire. I was so proud of him it was great. I want to thank Ken and Janice for all of their great training advice it really paid off.

When we first met, I was rude and obnoxious. I picked fights, ignored authority figures and was headstrong.
Now, thanks to you, I am socially acceptable (most of the time). You turned my life around and made my owner very happy. She says I have transitioned from a canine delinquent to a delightful companion. Now, she is busy reforming my brother Furby McFluff, a real Neanderthal that she found at a homeless shelter.
Pawsitively yours,
Robeart Red-Furred

Windstead Dogs academy is amazing and the classes work.
Ken Campbell teaches with a great deal of knowledge and calmly taught me that my troubled shelter dog can be saved. His classes are a pleasure and a joy.
The web site and the video is very informative and interesting.
